Add a Google Map

Add a Google map to your site. It's soooo easy.

First you need to get A Google Maps API key.

This API is valid for use on your domain. It gives you a snippet of code that you can insert into your web page. Even BBC is at it

The snippet centres the map based on latitude and longitude so you have to find the lat & long for your postcode... You can do this by going to: http://maps.google.co.uk and inserting your postcode. Then click "search maps" - then - click "link to this page" - which sticks the lat and long in the URL bar e.g.:

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=PO1+2QF&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=50.794353,-1.095586&spn=0.012424,0.048494&om=1&iwloc=addr

So this is the lat and long for vertical leap: 50.794353,-1.095586.

Finally - take this lat and long and stick into your code snippet that Google gives you.

Heres Vertical Leap:
