Blogger FTP broken?

17th April 2009 by Joe Bursell

Blogger is experiencing problems with publishing files to host domains over FTP. This won’t affect you if you use a “whatever.blogspot.com” type set up, but if you use Blogger for your company blog e.g. www.yourdomain/blog it may be causing problems.

Interestingly the problem is neither consistent nor widespread- not every FTP Blogger seems to have a problem. Blogger themselves have said that it’s been fixed but the problem still persists.

FTP uploads are an ongoing issue so here’s hoping they can resolve it- on the positive side Blogger do provide a great, free service and this is a small glitch with an otherwise smashing service.
