Blogging and SEO – More Evidence that it Works

We’ve written several times about blogging (here’s a round up of our blogging tips) however, HubSpot have done some detailed analysis on some of the reasons that it works.

Their recent blog post highlights that companies that blog get 97% more inbound links than those who don’t. That’s an impressive figure, indicating that you can almost double your inbound link profile over time by adding a blog to your website.

As search engines use backlinks as a primary measure of the popularity of a website, this shows that having a blog has great benefits for your website.

And if you are still having trouble thinking of subjects for your blog, remember that your analytics can be a great inspiration by searching your existing long tail queries.
