Firefox 3- SEO goodness maintained, security may be flaky

20th June 2008 by Joe Bursell

Firefox 3 was finally released on Tuesday 17th to a mixed reception. The security community picked a few holes in it- the unreliability of how it reports phishing sites and drive-by downloads being the main concerns.

My concern was how it would handle the SEO plugins that I rely on, on a day-to-day basis. I’d never thought about how much I take for granted something as simple as Number Google Results for Greasemonkey:

Search Status
CSS Viewer
IE Tab
Web Developer Toolbar
Firebug
Greasemonkey (you need this plugin for Greasemonkey scripts to work)
Nofollow display Greasemonkey script
Numbered MSN Results Grea
