There is a great 8 minute video that provides various professional opinions from US Marketers on the viability of Online Marketing for 2008 and Beyond: http://www.imediaconnection.com/content/18094.asp
In summary, they all agree that online marketing is a viable medium that is definitely here to not only stay but have continued, sustained growth in the future. Fortune 1000 companies no longer integrate search engine marketing as a test program for marketing dollars allocation, but is now firmly entrenched in their marketing budgets as essential to their overall revenue targets and market reach.
Similar to the continued dot.com’s from the 1998-2000 bubble, online marketing companies with a solid business model, proprietary technology independent of third party software’s, and a solid Client base of satisfied companies will continue to thrive in this high growth industry.
That makes it imperitive that any company sourcing a strategic partner for their online marketing strategies and implementation research a providers case studies and length of being in business. A provider that has been around for at least 5+ years is essential. That has been an important factor for Clients selecting Vertical Leap Australia. Although we entered the Australian market in 2005, we have been operating internationally since 1999.
