PPC Management – New Search-Based Keyword Tool

Pay Per Click Budget Tips – 2009

Tightening the proverbial marketing belts to enable you to ride out the current economic storm seems to be the key metric at the moment and a process that most PPC Agencies are adhering to. Google have recently released a new useful tool that all PPC campaigns should be introduced to at some point in the very near future to help with the crunch.

The new Search-Based Keyword Tool enables advertisers to hone in on already great converting campaigns, unveil areas of hidden traffic you might not have noticed and generally save budgets or spend in higher converting areas.

Basically the new Search-Based Keywoord Tool matches Google search queries against
the current content within your website. From this you are then supplied with a very relevant and targeted catalogue of keywords that you can use within your PPC Campaign. The new list is then matched and filtered against your campaign and all existing keywords that are already being used within you account are removed leaving you with a unique list of new buzz terms to utilise. Once your new list has been generated you can use one of the many filters to further streamline your keyword shortlist. Low cost and cheap/bargain terms can be filtered out by using the “more filters” option and adding your max Cost Per Click ( CPC) .

Each keyword supplies you with further information so you can gague which to use in your new list. These features include Average Monthly Searches, Bid estimates for the top 3 positions and best of all in my opinion the page that the specific keyword is most related to on your website, which you should consider highly using as the landing page when building the keyword into your Pay Per Click campaign.

Hopefully all of the above will help you to save and spend budgets more wisely in the coming months.
