Search Engine Strategies London
28th January 2009 by Matt Hopkins
If you are interested in learning more about a subject like search engine marketing, then you have a number of options such as online resources and blogs such as SEOMoz and others, blogs, formal training courses.. or you could also attend a conference such as Search Engine Strategies.
This event is coming to London in February (17-20) and is one of the best of its category… plenty of great topics to help deepen your understanding, some formal/classroom training options, and the benefit of networking with other people at all different experience levels.
I was looking through the list of speakers and can’t believe how many there are.. over 80+ are scheduled to speak, including 2 keynotes. One of these is Matt Mason, author of Pirate’s Dilemma, who will speak about how youth culture online is blurring the boundaries between right and wrong online and how business can take advantage of this phenomenon. I haven’t read his book – but the reviews are positive on Amazon.
If you can’t make the full 3 days, they are also offering one day of formal / classroom training too. Topics include:
- Reaching Your Audience Through Blogs
- “Mobile Marketing 101″ <- as an American living in the UK, I should point out to the organisers that people outside of the US don't understand the "101" concept as universities here don't implement this numbering system.
- Link & Reputation Management
- Site Architecture Workshop
All good topics.
Of all the related conferences, if you want to learn about Search – this is the one for you.
