How To Exclude an IP Address in Google Analytics

If you have someone such as your web developers or SEO Company working on your website, you might want to consider excluding their IP address from your Google Analytics so that the traffic that they provide to your web site does not skew your graphs.

In order to do this, you have to be an “Administrator” to the Google Analytics account. First of all, find the website profile in your dashboard and then click “edit”

Then scroll down to where it says “Filters Applied to Profile” and select “Add Filter”

You can then select to exclude “traffic from the IP addresses” – and enter the IP addresses you wish to exclude.
