In a bid to help small business owners improve their AdWords campaigns and the return on their PPC budgets, Google has launched a new forum for those who might be struggling to deal with simple search engine marketing campaigns.
The new “Small Business Corner” can be found in the AdWords help forum and all that’s needed to start posting is a Google Profile linked to an AdWords account. It was announced this week by Miles Johnson of the Inside AdWords crew, who says it’s “designed to give those of you who are running your own AdWords accounts the opportunity to share best practices in discussions with your peers.”
Unlike the rest of the AdWords help forums, this subsection isn’t aimed at solving particular problems or troubleshooting specific account issues. Instead, Johnson says its for “sharing and learning from the experiences of others.”
Some examples that he gives for conversation topics in the forum include writing ad copy, establishing a good pattern of AdWords monitoring and adjustments, or advice on what tools to use to measure search engine marketing ROI. “Of course, this category is about your interests and needs, so we hope you’ll suggest the small business-related topics that you’d like to cover,” adds Johnson.
