Google has made its PPC search engine marketing service easier to use with the launch of the Adwords optimisation centre.
This webpage offers tips and strategies for Adwords users to make the most of their PPC campaigns. It collects the existing education and assistance information that the company has published through sources such as its Inside Adwords and Adwords Agency blogs into a central location, and adds to this with “some of the top tips and strategies used by our Adwords specialists”.
As well as offering tips by “level of expertise” – basic, intermediate and advanced – the centre allows visitors to see tips by account feature or advertising goal. It also contains a useful glossary to help understand the specific words used by the service.
The categories of tips for advertising goals are likely to be of interest to anyone working at a PPC agency. It offers advice on how to improve ROI, ad position, click-through-rate as well as how to increase sales and leads. Whilst many PPC professionals will fall squarely in the ‘advanced’ expertise category, they may still benefit from tips for account features such as Targeting, Account Structure or Bidding and Budgeting.
