Vertical Leap SEO campaign leads to best seller opportunity for publisher Wed, 27 May 2009 by admin |

Vertical Leap is celebrating after a client scooped a book deal because of a successful online marketing campaign. Last year, Vertical Leap, one of the top five managed search engine marketing agencies in the UK, was appointed to manage the search engine optimisation for Personal Career Management, an expert in the field of career management and outplacement. As a result of their campaign and other marketing strategies, Corinne Mills, the company’s managing director, was approached to write her book “You’re Hired! CV: How to write a brilliant CV” which has become the best selling book about CVs in the UK. One of the ways Trotman Publishing used to find Corinne was via her company’s website that appeared top of their search engine results having entered one of the key phrases targeted by Vertical Leap. Corinne said: “I was thrilled when I was approached by the publishers. Having our website at the top of the right searches has brought us many business advantages, but the book deal is the icing on the cake.” Matt Hopkins, Vertical Leap’s managing director, commented: “It’s great to have such a tangible result from a successful campaign, we regularly see traffic to our clients websites multiply but this is an especially rewarding outcome. One of the reasons we have been able to be so successful in optimising Personal Career Management’s website is our unique software, Apollo. It gives our Content Delivery Managers the most up-to-date information about where a website stands for different search queries which enables us to react quickly as part of our on-going campaign to get it and keep it at a top position. The bespoke nature of Apollo means that we are able to not just optimise a website but also find out exactly which key phrases produce the best conversion of website traffic to sales – and that information is gold dust to our clients!” Related Search Marketing News
